The pressure in the collecting pipe’s bowl should be on the 1/3 of the pressure in which the pump usually works.
When checking the pressure, you should also check the state of the membrane. In order to do this, you need to pump up the air and next release it slowly using the valve. If only air goes out of the valve, it means that the membrane is not damaged, but if the mixture of air and water goes out of the valve, it means it needs changing. It is particularly important to check the membranes before the winter because the water freezing inside the bowl causes its damage.
